Providing housing and discipleship for women in transition from prison, to equip them for successful living...

 

The Well Residential is a one year Biblically centered program that provides no cost housing and discipleship to women transitioning from prison, in order to equip them for successful living. Located in Montgomery Alabama, the home has three bedrooms and occupies one woman per room. There is at least one additional bed in each room for visiting children.

 

Our program offers the following topical classes:

 

1. Making Peace with your Past. We must embrace our past to be ready for the future. This study prepares us to move forward, not backward.

2. Healthy Relationships. The who, what, when, where, and why of relationships says a lot. This study guides us into navigating relationships in a more healthy way.

​

3. Financial Stewardship. No matter how much or how little our resources, it’s all about what we do with them. This study teaches us to steward our finances in a way that honors God and meets our personal needs.

​

4. Developing your Prayer Life. The ultimate success in life comes from knowing God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, whom guides us to walk in the purposes He ordained for us personally. This study gives us understanding of a healthy prayer life, communicating with the Lord.

 

In addition, our program offers the following resources:

 

· Personal assessment of physical needs, spiritual needs, emotional needs, skills, gifts, goals, and passions

· Personal advocacy

· Biblical counseling

· Mentoring and accountability

· Volunteer placement and community outreach

· Job placement

· Bank and savings accounting

· Life planning

· Program completion/transition readiness assessment

· Home placement assistance

· Fellowships
